I recently had an amazing experience at Grand Kabab and Biryani restaurant in Katy, TX after a delayed flight and a road trip to Austin. After a long and hectic journey, my craving for Indian subcontinent food led me to this restaurant. The hospitality, quality, and taste of the food were exceptional. I had a wonderful conversation with the owner over some delicious chai, which made me forget I was not in India. I highly recommend this restaurant and would definitely visit again when in Houston.
When we walked in I wasn't sure it was a restaurant! Looks more like a daily store front. But there are tables & So sparkling clean! They take your order and make everything completely fresh! Chef came out to ask about how we wanted our food prepared! These people really know how to treat guests special and how to prepare the most incredible from scratch meal pretty quickly! We will be back again and again! Amazing & talented!!
I literally just ordered from here and brought it home. I’m on a specific diet and the staff member helped me pick out a curry that fit my needs and was so sweet. I got the Dal Tadka and this is just about one of the best curries I’ve ever had. And I got plain naan that was just perfect. Don’t buy into the haters on here. It’s hard to find restaurants this clean and brightly lit without it being harsh. I will most definitely be visiting again and telling my friends! Thank you for such a great experience!
my FIRST Chicken Biryani pick-up order with Grand Kabab & Biryani:- 1. Biryani was hot, flavorful, WITHOUT any artificial colors (found excessive colors used in other place) and WITHOUT excess oil. 2. Chicken - was tender, flavorful and the portions were enough for one person serving. Overall very satisfied. Thank you. Hope you keep up the good work & quality always. My 4th Biryani today and as always, very tasty and good quality

I ordered food for a small gathering at our home. Honestly, food quality is too good. I really felt happy with the quantity of food they gave. Biryani tastes good and the one thing I should appreciate on the biryani flavor and mainly the texture of rice. If you are planning for any catering orders/take outs with in Katy, I strongly suggest to opt for Grand Briyani and Kabab restaurant.
Great boneless chicken biryani with lots of masala because I asked for a chatpati masala spicy biryani. The chicken is so flavorful, marinated separately. All white meat like breast pieces not those bone meat without the bone. Great portion too.
We ordered the Thanksgiving turkey from them and it was excellent! The turkey was cooked to perfection, absolutely delicious!
